An SAP users email list that books meetings is built one SAP product at a time, because the people who run S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba and Concur sit in different departments. Each contact needs a verified work email, and the owners you plan to call need a mobile number.
Scalelist does not sell technographic data or a file of SAP customers. Below is how many US SAP users you can reach by title, why the end of 2027 matters, who buys these lists, one sentence per SAP product, and what 500 contacts cost.
How many SAP users are there in the US?
Scalelist’s Lead Finder matches 11,737 US profiles with an SAP job title as of 28 September 2026: 5,600 SAP consultants, 2,845 SAP analysts, 1,621 SAP Basis administrators and engineers, 1,250 SAP and ABAP developers and 772 SAP managers and directors. These are matching profiles and upper bounds, since a title can belong to a past role.
SAP’s corporate fact sheet gives no customer count. It says 99 of the 100 largest companies in the world are SAP customers, 86 of them are S/4HANA customers, and approximately 80% of SAP’s customers are small and midsize companies (SAP corporate fact sheet, July 2026).

Customer or partner?
Many people titled SAP Consultant work for SAP partners and consultancies, not for companies that run SAP: 2,175 SAP consultants and architects sit at US IT services firms. If you sell to SAP customers, start from analyst, Basis and manager titles and add an industry or a size. If you sell to SAP partners, those 2,175 are your list.
Why the end of 2027 matters for SAP lists
SAP will provide mainstream maintenance for SAP Business Suite 7 core applications, including SAP ERP 6.0 (ECC), until the end of 2027, followed by optional extended maintenance until the end of 2030. SAP has also committed to keep at least one S/4HANA release in maintenance until 2040 (SAP support).

That puts every company still on ECC in a decision window: convert to S/4HANA, pay for extended maintenance, or look at alternatives. Migration partners, data migration and testing tools, and archiving vendors all sell into it.
No public source shows which companies are still on ECC, so ask. IT leaders who mention S/4HANA on their profile (370 in the US) and companies hiring for SAP roles are two signals of a project in flight.
Who buys an SAP users list, and why?
SAP users lists are bought by the SAP partner ecosystem and by vendors whose product plugs into SAP. SAP counts partners in more than 140 countries, including more than 3,000 with cloud delivery and solution expertise and more than 3,500 sell partners serving midmarket customers, plus more than 3,000 partner solutions on SAP Store (SAP fact sheet, July 2026).

Each buyer starts from a different title: add-on vendors from the SAP analyst who owns the module, migration partners from the IT director, midmarket resellers from the controller, and tool vendors from the Basis team.
Which SAP product? Build one list per product
SAP is a family of products with different owners, so an SAP users list works best built one product at a time. “Runs SAP” tells you almost nothing about who to call.

Commerce Cloud is the clearest case for a website scan: BuiltWith knows of 4,052 live websites using it (BuiltWith usage statistics). The ERP runs behind a login, and a trace of another product on a public page still does not tell you who runs it.
BuiltWith Basic costs 295 USD a month and Wappalyzer Pro 250 USD, neither with mobiles. For the rest, search the people, as our technographic data guide explains.
What should an SAP users email list include?
An SAP users email list needs the standard contact fields plus the SAP product and whether the person works at a customer or a partner.
| Field | Why it matters | Example (fictional) |
|---|---|---|
| Name and title | Basis, analyst, developer or manager? | Greg Holloway, SAP Basis Administrator |
| SAP product | Each product has a different owner | S/4HANA |
| Customer or partner | Decides the pitch entirely | Customer |
| Company and domain | Groups the SAP lead with the IT owner | Lakeview Components, lakeviewcomponents.com |
| Company size and industry | Sets deal size and the peers you cite | 1,001 to 5,000, manufacturing |
| Work email and status | Valid, Risky or Not found | Valid |
| Mobile number | For the owners you plan to call | +1 555 0137 |
| Date found | When to rebuild | 28 Sep 2026 |
Should you buy an SAP customers list or build one?
Build one. A bought SAP customers list is only as specific as the seller’s flag, and “uses SAP” names no product. You need the product, the person who runs it, and a sign they run it today.
| Factor | Bought SAP customers list | SAP list you build |
|---|---|---|
| Proof of SAP | The seller’s flag: ask how it was detected | A title or profile that names the product |
| Product detail | Often just “uses SAP” | One list per product |
| Freshness | Compiled before you bought it | Found the week you send |
| Verification | One status for the file, or none | Valid, Risky or Not found per email |
| Mobile numbers | Rarely included | For every owner you plan to call |
The same trade-offs apply to any audience; see B2B email lists: build or buy.
How to build an SAP users email list in Scalelist
Elena Park runs sales at Northgate Migration, a data migration tool for ECC to S/4HANA conversions, based in Chicago, Illinois (a fictional company). Her buyers are manufacturers. She builds her list in four steps.
1. Describe the SAP team in one sentence

2. Check what Lead Finder understood and the count
Scalelist’s Lead Finder shows the titles and industry it read, and the count, before any credit is spent. On 28 September 2026 the sentence matched 1,376 people.

3. Add the IT leader at the same companies
A second sentence, “IT directors, VPs of IT and CIOs at US manufacturers who mention SAP on their profile”, matched 1,861 people. Elena keeps 250 manufacturers with both an SAP lead and an IT leader.
4. Reveal emails for all, mobiles for the calls
| Build for 250 manufacturers (500 contacts) | Credits (maximum) |
|---|---|
| 500 leads + 500 verified emails | 1,000 |
| Mobiles for the 100 IT leaders she will call | 2,000 |
| Total | 3,000 |
That fits the Scaler 5K plan at 199 USD a month, with room for a second product list. Nothing is charged for an email or mobile that is not found. All plans are on Scalelist pricing.
Describe the SAP team you sell to and see how many people match before you spend a credit.
Describe your buyer in one sentenceSAP segments and sample prompts
Each row is an SAP user list on its own: one sentence per product or segment, ready to paste. Counts are matching US profiles on 28 September 2026, an upper bound.
| Segment | Sentence to type in Lead Finder | Matches |
|---|---|---|
| ERP teams, manufacturing | SAP analysts and SAP Basis administrators at US manufacturers | 1,376 |
| Large SAP shops | SAP analysts at US companies with more than 1,000 employees | 2,097 |
| S/4HANA projects | IT directors, VPs of IT and CIOs in the US who mention S/4HANA on their profile | 370 |
| SuccessFactors | HRIS managers, analysts and directors in the US who mention SuccessFactors | 563 |
| Ariba | Procurement and purchasing leaders in the US who mention Ariba | 1,122 |
| Concur | Travel and expense managers in the US who mention Concur | 280 |
| Business One | Controllers and CFOs in the US who mention SAP Business One | 487 |
| SAP partners | SAP consultants and architects at US IT services firms | 2,175 |
If you sell above the SAP team, the CIO email list guide and the IT decision makers list build the executive layer.
How to reach SAP teams
SAP teams answer outreach about a project they already have: a conversion, an upgrade, a go-live date, an audit finding. Name the product and the project in the first line.
- Ask where they are on S/4HANA. Every ECC customer has an answer: planned, underway, or done.
- Ask who their partner is. Many SAP customers work through an implementation partner; knowing it tells you who else is in the room.
- Email the SAP team, call the owner. In Nooks’ analysis of nearly 3 million dials, the gap between mobile and office lines was smaller for technical roles such as IT and support (Nooks, 2025). Spend mobile credits on the owners you will call.
Hi Greg,
Where is Lakeview Components on the move from ECC to S/4HANA: planned, underway or done?
Northgate moves and checks master data for manufacturers during S/4HANA conversions, so cutover weekends do not slip. [One result from a similar manufacturer, with the number.]
If a conversion is on your plan before the end of 2027, is a 20-minute call worth it?

Is it legal to email and call an SAP users list?
Yes, in the US, if you follow the email and calling rules. This is a summary, not legal advice.
- Email: CAN-SPAM covers business-to-business email (FTC): honest headers and subject lines, your postal address, opt-outs honored within 10 business days, up to 53,088 USD per violating email.
- Calls: most live sales calls to businesses are exempt from Do Not Call rules (FTC); autodialed, prerecorded or AI-voice telemarketing calls to a mobile need prior express written consent (47 U.S.C. 227). See our B2B cold calling laws guide.
- Outside the US: SAP teams in the EU or UK bring in the GDPR; see is B2B contact data legal.
Scalelist operates under the GDPR and Singapore’s PDPA, with a Data Processing Agreement, Standard Contractual Clauses and a published sub-processor list. Contact data you submit is never added to Scalelist’s database.

Can you buy an SAP users email list?
Yes, sellers offer them, but a bought file is only as specific as the seller’s “uses SAP” flag, with whoever they matched at each company. Building your own SAP users email list gives you one list per product, the analyst, Basis lead or owner who runs it, verified the week you send, with mobiles for the calls.
How many companies use SAP?
SAP does not publish a customer count on its corporate fact sheet. It says 99 of the 100 largest companies are SAP customers and about 80% of its customers are small and midsize companies. At the person level, Scalelist matches 11,737 US profiles with an SAP job title (September 2026), an upper bound.
When does SAP ECC support end?
SAP provides mainstream maintenance for SAP Business Suite 7 core applications, which include ECC, until the end of 2027. Optional extended maintenance runs to the end of 2030. SAP has committed to keep at least one S/4HANA release in maintenance until 2040, so ECC customers are choosing between conversion and extended support now.
Who should be on an SAP customers list?
The person who runs the SAP product you sell into, plus the person who signs. For S/4HANA that is an SAP analyst or Basis lead and the IT director; for SuccessFactors the HRIS lead; for Ariba the procurement director; for Business One the controller or CFO. Build one sentence per product.
How much does an SAP users email list cost?
With Scalelist, at most 2 credits per contact with a verified email and 22 with an email and a mobile; misses are free. 500 contacts at 250 manufacturers, with mobiles for 100 IT leaders, cost at most 3,000 credits, within the Scaler 5K plan at 199 USD a month.
Can Scalelist find companies using SAP?
Not as technographic data: Scalelist does not detect or sell a company’s tech stack. It finds people whose title names SAP or whose profile mentions an SAP product, and it can find the buyers at domains you export from a scan, with verified emails and mobiles charged only when found.
