ZoomInfo vs LeadIQ: an enterprise contract or a low-cost credit pool?

ZoomInfo vs LeadIQ thumbnail with both logos: an enterprise annual contract compared with a published credit pool for SDR teams

Contents

ZoomInfo vs LeadIQ comes down to how much platform you need. LeadIQ is a prospecting tool for SDR teams, with published plans from 15 USD a month billed annually for up to 5 users, 1 credit per email and 10 per phone number. ZoomInfo sells enterprise contact, company and intent data on custom-quoted annual contracts, and publishes no paid price.

Prices checked on 27 September 2026 from each vendor’s own pricing page.

Below, both tools get the same 11 fields, in the same order, from their own pricing pages, help centers and docs on 27 September 2026. Neither was in our own benchmark, so every data figure is labeled as the vendor’s claim.

How are ZoomInfo and LeadIQ different?

ZoomInfo and LeadIQ differ most in how you buy, what a phone number costs and how much company data comes with the contacts. These six differences change the bill or the daily workflow.

  1. A price list against a quote. LeadIQ prices Pro on a credit slider from 2.4k to 81k credits a year; the lowest tier costs 15 USD a month billed annually or 20 USD billed monthly. ZoomInfo says paid plans “are not published at a fixed price.”
  2. What a phone costs. LeadIQ publishes “Email = 1 Credit”, “Phone number = 10 Credits” and “Email + Phone number = 11 Credits”. ZoomInfo charges one credit per exported record and says consumption “varies by data depth”.
  3. Team size. LeadIQ’s free plan is 1 user and Pro covers “Up to 5 users”; larger teams, SSO and governance controls sit in Enterprise. ZoomInfo paid plans “include a minimum number of seats and scale with headcount.”
  4. Repeat lookups. LeadIQ says “If you unlocked a data point in the past year, looking it up again is free.” ZoomInfo lets you re-pull records under management free for a year, but two users exporting the same record pay two credits, and views are capped per user.
  5. Depth of company data. ZoomInfo claims 122M+ company records, org charts, website visitor data (WebSights), and intent across 4,500+ topics. LeadIQ’s plans list people search, CRM enrichment, account enrichment at 3 credits, an API and an MCP connector.
  6. Where the data goes. LeadIQ pushes to Salesforce through a managed package, to HubSpot through Workato, and to Outreach and Salesloft. ZoomInfo connects to Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, Zoho, SugarCRM and Pipedrive, but its free Lite tier needs a paid plan for integrations.
ZoomInfo vs LeadIQ buying model: custom quote, annual contract and seat minimums vs a published credit slider, monthly billing and up to 5 users
LeadIQ is bought by the SDR manager from the pricing page; ZoomInfo is bought through procurement.

ZoomInfo vs LeadIQ pricing

LeadIQ publishes its entry prices and ZoomInfo does not. Here is everything each vendor publishes, plus one third-party figure for ZoomInfo.

LeadIQ pricing

LeadIQ plan Billed annually Billed monthly Credits Users
Free 0 USD 0 USD 50 1
Pro, lowest tier 15 USD a month 20 USD a month 2,400 a year, or 200 a month Up to 5
Enterprise Not published (“Contact us”) Not offered Custom Custom

Pro scales on a slider up to 81k credits a year; we recorded only the lowest tier. One pool of Universal Credits covers every LeadIQ feature, and account enrichment costs 3 credits. Our LeadIQ pricing breakdown goes plan by plan.

ZoomInfo pricing

  • ZoomInfo Lite: 0 USD, 10 credits a month (25 with Community Edition), no credit card and no contract. A reveal shows a business email and a direct or office phone. Integrations need a paid plan.
  • Paid plans: quoted and annual. ZoomInfo names the quote drivers as team size, credit volume, features such as intent and WebSights, integrations and API access, and contract length.
  • Third-party data: Vendr, a software buying marketplace, reports a median ZoomInfo contract of 33,500 USD a year across 1,573 purchases, from 7,213 to 155,820 USD.

ZoomInfo’s own article warns that “Renewal pricing can increase from the initial contract rate”. Our ZoomInfo pricing breakdown covers each credit type.

What one phone number costs

At LeadIQ’s lowest Pro tier, a phone number costs 0.75 USD billed annually and 1.00 USD billed monthly, if you use every credit. ZoomInfo does not publish a price per number.

ZoomInfo vs LeadIQ cost per phone number: LeadIQ 0.75 USD annual and 1.00 USD monthly at the lowest Pro tier, 240 phones a year; ZoomInfo not published
You can price a LeadIQ phone before you buy; a ZoomInfo phone only has a price once you have a quote.

The entry tier is small for calling teams: 2,400 credits a year buy 240 phone numbers, or 218 contacts with both email and phone. The closest ZoomInfo figure is our math on Vendr’s median: one exported record costs 6.70 USD at 5,000 exports a year and 0.67 USD at 50,000. That is third-party data, not a ZoomInfo price.

Credit rules that change the real price

The list price is half the cost; the credit rules decide how much of it you use. Here are the same five rules for each tool.

Credit rule ZoomInfo LeadIQ
How credits are counted 1 credit per exported record; “Credit consumption varies by data depth”; Monthly, Bulk and AI Action Credits One pool of Universal Credits for every feature: 1 per email, 10 per phone, 11 for both, 3 per account enrichment
Looking up a contact again Records under management can be re-pulled or re-enriched free for up to 1 year; views are capped per user, and each view of an email or phone uses one, even for the same contact Free within a year: “If you unlocked a data point in the past year, looking it up again is free.”
Same record, two users Two credits: “if User A and User B both export the same record, two credits will be charged” Not published
Unused credits Monthly credits cannot be rolled over or transferred; Bulk Credits expire at the end of the contract Not published
What a miss costs Not published Nothing over MCP: it bills “for data that is actually returned”, and addresses that fail verification cost nothing; a returned work email is charged “whatever its verification status”; the GraphQL API has its own ratesheet
ZoomInfo vs LeadIQ credit rules: LeadIQ 10 credits per phone, billing for returned data and free repeats vs ZoomInfo per-record, per-user credits and expiry
LeadIQ’s phone price is high in credits but predictable; ZoomInfo’s rules decide how many of your quoted credits turn into contacts.

Which has better data, ZoomInfo or LeadIQ?

We cannot rank them: neither ZoomInfo nor LeadIQ was in our benchmark, so the answer rests on vendor claims until you test both.

  • LeadIQ claims a “live dataset of 750 million+ professional profiles, refreshed every month,” an “85 % global match-rate (70 % in EMEA and climbing)” and verified phone “Accuracy >90 %”.
  • ZoomInfo claims “87% Mobile Number Accuracy,” “135M+ Direct Dial Numbers” and “300M+ Verified Emails,” verified by machine learning, third-party partners and “300+ human researchers.”

A third option: Scalelist, if mobiles are the job

If your reps call as much as they email, a pay-per-result tool without a user cap may fit better. Scalelist is an AI Lead Finder: you describe the people you want in one sentence and get them back with verified work emails and mobile numbers.

  • How you pay: 1 credit per lead or email found, 20 per mobile found, and nothing when nothing is found. Plans run from 29 USD a month for 500 credits to 649 USD for 20,000, with no seats and no annual contract (Scalelist plans and credits).
  • Measured: in our own benchmark, Scalelist found a phone number for 87% of the North America list, 73% in EMEA, 75% in APAC and 85% in Latin America.
  • Where it is not the better buy: a mobile costs 0.65 to 1.16 USD at list price, about the same as a LeadIQ phone at the entry tier. HubSpot is the only native CRM, so Salesforce teams go through Zapier or the API, and there is no intent data or org chart. Scalelist does not publish an audited certification like the ones ZoomInfo and LeadIQ list.

How to choose between ZoomInfo and LeadIQ

LeadIQ or ZoomInfo comes down to team size, your phone-to-email mix and how much company data you need beyond contacts.

Decision tree for ZoomInfo vs LeadIQ: LeadIQ for up to 5 SDRs who need emails, ZoomInfo for larger teams needing intent, a pay-per-result tool for mobiles
Team size and your phone-to-email mix decide it before any feature list does.
  1. Count the users. Up to 5, LeadIQ Pro covers you at a published price. Beyond that, both go through sales.
  2. Price your phone mix. On LeadIQ a phone costs 10 times an email. Ask ZoomInfo how many credits a record with a mobile uses on your quote.
  3. Decide if you need company intelligence. Org charts, intent and website visitor data point to ZoomInfo. Contacts pushed into a sequencer point to LeadIQ.
  4. Check where the data lands. Salesforce with Outreach or Salesloft works on both. HubSpot on LeadIQ runs through Workato.
  5. Test on the same 100 contacts before you commit a year, and count connected calls.

FAQ

Is LeadIQ better than ZoomInfo?

For SDR teams of up to 5 that mostly need emails pushed into Salesforce and a sequencer, LeadIQ is the simpler buy: published prices, monthly billing and 1 credit per email. ZoomInfo is the better fit for larger teams that need company data, org charts and intent under one annual contract. Neither was in our benchmark, so test data quality on your own accounts.

ZoomInfo vs LeadIQ: which is cheaper?

LeadIQ, at the entry level. LeadIQ Pro starts at 15 USD a month billed annually for 2,400 credits a year and up to 5 users, and the free plan gives 50 credits. ZoomInfo does not publish paid prices; Vendr, a buying marketplace, reports a median contract of 33,500 USD a year. ZoomInfo Lite is free with 10 credits a month.

How much does a phone number cost on LeadIQ and ZoomInfo?

On LeadIQ, 10 credits, which is 0.75 USD at the lowest annual Pro tier and 1.00 USD billed monthly. An email costs 1 credit, and both together cost 11. ZoomInfo does not publish a price per phone number: it charges one credit per exported record and says consumption varies by data depth.

Does LeadIQ charge for contacts it cannot find?

Not over its MCP connector, where LeadIQ says paid tools “bill for data that is actually returned” and addresses that fail verification cost nothing. A returned work email is charged “whatever its verification status”. LeadIQ’s GraphQL API is billed on its own ratesheet. ZoomInfo does not publish whether a record with no email or phone uses a credit.

LeadIQ vs ZoomInfo: which is better for SDR teams?

For a small SDR team, LeadIQ: it is built around capturing prospects while browsing and pushing them into Salesforce, Outreach or Salesloft, and Pro covers up to 5 users. For a large SDR organization that also needs intent, org charts and website visitor data, ZoomInfo. Check how many phone numbers each plan really buys before you sign.

Is there an alternative to ZoomInfo and LeadIQ for mobile numbers?

Yes. Scalelist, an AI Lead Finder, returns verified work emails and mobile numbers from a one-sentence description. It charges 20 credits per mobile found and nothing for a miss, with no seats and no user cap. A mobile costs about the same as a LeadIQ phone at the entry tier, and HubSpot is its only native CRM. New accounts get 20 free credits.
