RingCentral pricing in 2026: plans, per-user cost and what you still need to buy

RingCentral pricing 2026 thumbnail with the RingCentral logo: RingEX and RingCX plans and the real cost for a sales team

Contents

RingCentral pricing starts at 20 USD per user per month for RingEX Core, its business phone system, billed annually, or 30 USD billed monthly (prices checked on 4 November 2026). RingCX, the contact center product that holds the automated dialers, starts at 65 USD per user annually or 75 USD monthly.

Most guides stop at those numbers because they are written for phone system buyers. If you run an outbound team, the plan you can actually use, the dialing minutes and the numbers your reps call decide the real bill. This page prices all of it for 5 and 10 reps.

RingCentral pricing at a glance (November 2026)

RingCentral publishes six seat prices across two calling products, plus two plans that are quote only. All prices are per user per month in USD, from the pricing pages rendered on 4 November 2026.

RingCentral pricing table: RingEX Core 30 or 20 USD, Advanced 35 or 25, Ultra 45 or 35; RingCX Standard 75 or 65, Professional 110 or 95, Elite 165 or 145
Automated dialers start at the RingCX line of this table, not at the 20 USD headline price.

RingEX shows the same prices for 1 to 5 and 6 to 100 users, so no volume discount is published up to 100 seats. Annual billing saves up to 33% on RingEX and up to 13% on RingCX, by RingCentral’s own numbers. Above 100 users, ask for a quote.

RingEX vs RingCX: which one are you buying?

RingEX is a business phone system; RingCX is a contact center with automated dialers. A rep can make cold calls by hand on RingEX, but list dialing at volume belongs on RingCX, and that choice more than triples the entry price.

RingEX at 20 to 35 USD per user versus RingCX at 65 to 145 USD: RingCX adds four dialing modes, usage fees and needs a RingEX account
Automated list dialing puts you on RingCX, so that is the price to compare.
  • RingEX gives every user a line, messaging, video meetings and unlimited US and Canada calling. With the RingCentral for HubSpot app, a rep can click to dial from a HubSpot record.
  • RingCX includes voice broadcast, preview, predictive and progressive dialing on every plan, per its feature table. CRM integrations are also on every tier.

The dividing line is in writing. RingCentral’s Acceptable Use Policy says RingEX is “not for high-volume commercial messaging or call center calling” and lists auto-dialing and predictive dialing as uses it does not allow.

RingCentral plans explained

Each RingCentral plan adds to the one below it. Here is what matters for a team that sells by phone.

RingEX Core: 30 USD monthly, 20 USD annually

Core includes unlimited US and Canada calling, on-demand call recording, 100 toll-free minutes and 25 SMS per user a month.

  • Missing for sales: CRM integrations, automatic recording and whisper and barge tools. A manager cannot listen in, and calls do not connect to your CRM.
  • Who it fits: office staff and account managers who take and return calls.

RingEX Advanced: 35 USD monthly, 25 USD annually

Advanced adds CRM integrations such as Salesforce, automatic call recording, live listen-in, 1,000 toll-free minutes and 100 SMS per user.

  • Who it fits: small sales teams that click to dial from a CRM. For most of them, this is the lowest RingEX plan worth buying.

RingEX Ultra: 45 USD monthly, 35 USD annually

Ultra adds RingCentral Webinar, Business Analytics Pro, device analytics, unlimited storage, 10,000 toll-free minutes and 200 SMS per user.

  • Who it fits: companies that need reporting and storage across many users. It adds no dialing mode, so an SDR team gets little from the extra 10 USD.

RingCX Standard: 75 USD monthly, 65 USD annually

Standard is the entry point for automated dialing. It includes all four dialing modes, ACD and IVR routing, call recording, AI summaries and CRM integrations. RingCentral explains the modes on its AI dialer page, and our guide to the predictive dialer covers when a B2B team needs one.

  • Watch out: the pricing page routes every RingCX plan to “Contact sales”. There is no self-serve checkout.
  • Who it fits: teams with a full-time calling floor.

RingCX Professional and Elite: 95 and 145 USD annually

Professional adds AI Quality Management and AI Agent Assist. Elite adds AI Supervisor Assist, AI Interaction Analytics and AI Workforce Management. Billed monthly they cost 110 and 165 USD. RingCentral also lists these modules as add-ons, from 20 to 25 USD per user a month.

What RingCentral costs a 5 and 10-rep team

A 5-rep team pays 125 USD a month for RingEX Advanced or 325 USD for RingCX Standard on annual billing, and a 10-rep team pays 250 or 650 USD. The math is seats times the list price, before taxes and fees.

Plan 5 reps, annual billing 5 reps, monthly billing 10 reps, annual billing 10 reps, monthly billing
RingEX Core 100 USD/mo 150 USD/mo 200 USD/mo 300 USD/mo
RingEX Advanced 125 USD/mo 175 USD/mo 250 USD/mo 350 USD/mo
RingEX Ultra 175 USD/mo 225 USD/mo 350 USD/mo 450 USD/mo
RingCX Standard 325 USD/mo 375 USD/mo 650 USD/mo 750 USD/mo
RingCX Professional 475 USD/mo 550 USD/mo 950 USD/mo 1,100 USD/mo
RingCX Elite 725 USD/mo 825 USD/mo 1,450 USD/mo 1,650 USD/mo
Grouped bars of RingCentral team cost per month: 5 reps 100, 125, 175, 325 USD; 10 reps 200, 250, 350, 650 USD on annual billing
Moving from RingEX Advanced to RingCX Standard adds 200 USD a month for 5 reps and 400 USD for 10.

Over a year on annual billing, RingEX Advanced costs 1,500 USD for 5 reps and 3,000 USD for 10. RingCX Standard costs 3,900 and 7,800 USD.

One open question can move these totals. RingCX terms say a RingEX account is required, but not whether each rep needs a paid RingEX seat. If they do, RingEX Core adds 100 USD a month for 5 reps and 200 USD for 10.

Hidden RingCentral costs and contract terms

The extra RingCentral costs sit in dialing minutes, add-ons, messaging limits and contract terms. These lines come from RingCentral’s own pricing pages and service terms.

Six RingCentral cost drivers: product and plan, dialing minutes, add-ons, numbers and texts, billing and seats, taxes and fees
Ask for a written price on each of these six lines before you compare a RingCentral quote with anything else.

Automated dialing minutes

This is the line to pin down first. The RingCX terms charge “Usage (per minute) fees” on top of seats, and two versions of those terms are live. One says a seat includes 4,000 outbound domestic minutes, not applied to automated dialer calls. The other covers manually dialed calls only.

Neither version includes automated dialer minutes, and we found no published rate. Ask for it in writing before you compare RingCX with a flat-rate dialer.

Add-ons

  • AI Conversation Expert (call scoring, coaching): starts at 60 USD per user a month. On Advanced that takes a rep from 25 to 85 USD.
  • AI Receptionist: starts at 39 USD a month with RingEX.
  • Call Queues Booster and Business SMS Booster: listed at 35 and 25 USD, with no unit shown on the page.
  • Extra local or toll-free numbers: 4.99 USD a month each.

Calling and texting limits

  • Unlimited calling covers the US and Canada only. International calls bill at published rates.
  • Toll-free minutes are pooled per account. Past the allotment, each minute costs 3.9 cents.
  • SMS is capped at 25, 100 or 200 per user a month. Automated or high-volume texting needs High Volume SMS, from 0.0119 USD per message.

Contract terms

  • RingCX seats: you pay for at least the seats on your order, whether or not they are used.
  • Extra RingCX seats: on-demand seats cost more than contract seats and bill for the full month. One version of the terms sets the overage at 20 USD per seat a month.
  • Desk phones: rental is “available only with multi-year contract”.
  • Taxes and fees are extra on every plan, so your invoice will run above the list price.

What a RingCentral calling seat really costs, numbers included

A RingCentral calling seat costs the plan, plus add-ons and minutes, plus the contact data you load into it. RingCentral supplies none of that data: it sells phone lines and dialers, and the pages we reviewed offer no prospect lists or mobile numbers.

Stack of a RingCentral sales seat cost: seat at 25 or 65 USD, add-ons, usage, plus about 65 to 70 USD a rep of mobile numbers
RingCentral prices the seat and the calls; the people to call are a separate line.

The phone system does not come with people to call, and that last layer decides whether the seat pays off. Gong’s study of 300 million cold calls found the average rep connects on 5.4% of dials. Nooks found, across nearly 3 million dials, that mobile numbers connect 45% more often than other numbers.

What the numbers cost on top of RingCentral

Scalelist, an AI lead finder, charges 10 credits per mobile number found and nothing when it finds none. Cost per mobile is fixed by the plan:

Scalelist plan Price per month Mobiles it buys Cost per mobile
Scaler 500 29 USD 50 0.58 USD
Scaler 1K 49 USD 100 0.49 USD
Scaler 2K 89 USD 200 0.45 USD
Scaler 5K 199 USD 500 0.40 USD
Scaler 10K 349 USD 1,000 0.35 USD
Scaler 20K 649 USD 2,000 0.32 USD
Bar chart of the cost per mobile number on Scalelist plans: 0.58 USD on Scaler 500 down to 0.32 USD on Scaler 20K, misses free
A bigger plan lowers the price per mobile, and a miss costs nothing on any plan.

Worked example: 5 and 10 SDRs

Marcus Bell runs outbound at Prairie Freight Software in Omaha, Nebraska. Each SDR needs 200 new contacts with a mobile number every month.

  • 5 reps: 5 x 200 = 1,000 mobiles = 10,000 credits, the Scaler 10K plan at 349 USD, about 70 USD per rep.
  • 10 reps: 10 x 200 = 2,000 mobiles = 20,000 credits, the Scaler 20K plan at 649 USD, about 65 USD per rep.
  • Misses: at the 87% North America phone rate from our benchmark, Marcus submits about 1,150 contacts for 1,000 mobiles, or about 2,300 for 2,000. The misses cost 0 credits.
Setup, annual billing 5 reps 10 reps
RingEX Advanced + mobiles 474 USD/mo 899 USD/mo
RingCX Standard + mobiles 674 USD/mo 1,299 USD/mo

Both totals exclude taxes, add-ons and any RingCX usage fees.

Scalelist has no direct RingCentral connector. On RingEX, send leads to HubSpot and click to dial from the record. On RingCX, export a CSV and load it into a campaign: RingCentral’s lead loading docs cover CSV and Excel files. Other routes are in our dialer integration guide.

Is RingCentral worth it?

RingCentral is worth it for companies that want one vendor for phones, meetings and messaging, with sales calling added to the same account. It is a weaker fit for a small team that only wants a dialer, because automated dialing sits in the contact center product.

RingCentral fits you if:

  • Your company already runs on RingEX and sales needs lines on the same system.
  • Your reps call one prospect at a time from a CRM.
  • You run a full calling floor and also need inbound routing and digital channels.

Look elsewhere if:

  • You want a power dialer at a low seat price with published usage costs.
  • You want to buy dialing online without a sales call.
  • You only need contact data, not a phone system.

Cheaper or better-fit RingCentral alternatives

JustCall, Aircall and Dialpad all publish a seat price for a plan with an automated dialer, and Scalelist covers the data line that RingCentral leaves open. The same five fields for each:

Tool Entry automated dialing price (monthly / annual) Seat minimum Automated dialer starts on Supplies contact data
RingCentral 75 / 65 USD per user (RingCX Standard) Not published RingCX Standard, usage fees apply No
JustCall 69 / 49 USD per user (Pro) 2 licenses Pro (power dialer) No
Aircall 70 / 50 USD per license (Professional) 3 users Professional (Power Dialer) No
Dialpad 95 listed / 79 USD per user (Sell Premium) Not published Premium, plus calling credits No
Scalelist 29 USD a month for 500 credits (not a dialer) None, no per-seat pricing Not a dialer Yes: 10 credits per mobile found, 0 on a miss
RingCentral pricing compared: RingCX 75 or 65 USD, JustCall Pro 69 or 49, Aircall Professional 70 or 50, Dialpad Premium 95 or 79, Scalelist 29 USD
Every dialer here prices the seat; only one line supplies the numbers you call.

How to buy RingCentral smart

The cheapest RingCentral setup is the lowest plan that matches how your reps dial, priced in writing, with data budgeted as its own line. These steps are common buying practice, not RingCentral policy.

  1. Decide how reps dial first. Click to dial points to RingEX Advanced. Automated list dialing points to RingCX.
  2. Ask for the RingCX usage rate. Get the per-minute price for automated dialer calls in writing, and confirm which service terms apply to your order.
  3. Ask if each rep needs a RingEX seat. The answer can add 20 USD or more per rep.
  4. Size seats carefully. You pay for every RingCX contract seat, used or not.
  5. Ask for a discount. List prices are flat up to 100 users, so a team discount has to be negotiated.
  6. Budget the numbers separately. Seats x new contacts per rep x your mobile hit rate gives you the data line. Start with a cold calling list build before you sign.

Rules apply to who you can call and how. Read our B2B cold calling laws overview before you load a list.

If your data budget also covers an enterprise database, compare it with ZoomInfo’s pricing. Our benchmark of 8 data providers shows phone find rates by region, and Scalelist plans start at 29 USD a month. More vendor breakdowns are on the Scalelist blog.

FAQ

How much does RingCentral cost per user?

RingCentral costs 20 to 35 USD per user per month for RingEX on annual billing, as of November 2026, and 30 to 45 USD on monthly billing. RingCX, the contact center with automated dialers, costs 65 to 145 USD annually or 75 to 165 USD monthly. Taxes and fees are extra, and RingCX can add per-minute usage fees.

What are the RingCentral plans?

RingCentral sells RingEX in Core, Advanced and Ultra plans, plus a quote-only AI Customer Engagement Bundle. RingCX, its contact center, comes in Standard, Professional, Elite and quote-only Enterprise Contact Center plans. Separate products include AI Conversation Expert, AI Receptionist, Events, Rooms and Webinar, each with its own price.

Does RingCentral have a power dialer?

Yes, but in RingCX rather than RingEX. RingCX includes preview, progressive, predictive and voice broadcast dialing on every plan, starting at 65 USD per user a month on annual billing. RingCentral’s Acceptable Use Policy bars auto-dialing on RingEX, where reps dial manually or click to dial from a CRM such as HubSpot.

How many people can use RingCentral?

RingCentral publishes no user limit on its pricing pages. Its plan selector runs from 1 to 5 users, to 6 to 100, to 100+, and the listed price is the same up to 100 users. Video meetings on RingEX allow 300 participants. Larger teams should ask RingCentral for a quote.

What is RingCentral used for?

RingCentral is used for business calling, team messaging, video meetings and contact center work. Companies use RingEX to give staff a business phone line on desktop and mobile, and RingCX to run inbound queues and outbound campaigns. It does not supply prospect lists, so sales teams bring their own contacts.

Who is RingCentral’s biggest competitor?

It depends on the job, and RingCentral does not name one on its pricing pages. For a business phone, buyers often compare Dialpad and Aircall. For sales calling, they also look at JustCall, Kixie and Orum. Compare on the plan that includes the dialing mode you need, not on the entry price.

Is there a free trial of RingCentral?

Yes. RingCentral lists a 14-day trial of RingEX for new subscribers, with up to 2 desktop phones and no SMS. Its FAQ mentions support for up to 20 phone lines, while a footnote limits the trial to five users. RingCX shows “Contact sales” instead of a trial. No RingCentral plan stays free after the trial.

Does RingCentral include phone numbers to call?

No. RingCentral gives each user a business number and sells extra lines for 4.99 USD a month, but it does not sell prospect contact data. You bring the list. Scalelist, an AI lead finder, finds mobile numbers for 10 credits each, only when found, and you load them through HubSpot or a CSV.
